Dry Skin In Winter

Moisture is vital for easy and soft epidermis but sometimes especially in winters the skin struggles to retain the wetness resulting in dried out skin. Dried out skin is known as xerosis. In sebum level in dry skin is very low which makes it prone and sensitive to various skin problems.

Dry skin gives a boring and flaky look especially on the cheeks and around the eye. It needs proper care as dry epidermis has a tendency for broken veins, flakiness, dry areas and sore skin. After every clean skin gives a tight feeling. Wind, dry extremes and weather of temperatures worsen the situation. People who have dry pores and skin have a previous background of premature wrinkles. It is a temporary and not a serious problem but if not treated properly it might become problematic.
