A subjective point of view is something predicated on one’s opinions, perspectives, values, discoveries, wishes, and feelings. It has no concern with incorrect or right, apart from the person’s opinion of what is right and wrong. Likewise, subjective writing or viewpoint is based on the writer’s own experience and observation.
It targets the writer’s personal viewpoint and not built on facts that others see or things others go through. Third person point of view can be subjective. It is known as “limited omniscience,” when a writer knows every detail about a character and sees the complete story through that character’s eyes.
The major difference between subjective and objective is that subjective information is dependant on just one single person’s feelings, assumptions, and views. It has a point of view of that person of information or arguments it includes irrespective. Objective, on the other hand, is the given information a article writer or loudspeaker provides beyond his/her personal opinions or feelings. It is predicated on facts. Within this passage, readers can see how Harry is feeling, thinking, and what is happening with him.
They follow him very closely, but are unable to see what the Dursleys are feeling or considering Harry. That is a depiction of subjective feelings. This excerpt is a very good exemplory case of a subjective strategy. Here, the speaker is expressing his emotions of love for the old days of Ancient Greece, as shown through pictures on a marble container.
In this stanza, he could be talking about a musician, playing pipes wonderfully. He escapes from physical world to his world of illusion, where weather changes and there is an eternal spring never. “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Rough winds do tremble the darling buds of May…. In these lines, the speaker expresses his opinion about his precious, who’s lovelier than the summer’s day. All the elements such as admiration and comparisons are subjective because specifications of beauty for just one person may not be the same for others.

Fallen chilly and dead. On this poem, the loudspeaker is a sailor. He sings this tune for the captain who leads his dispatch and crew securely into harbor after an unhealthy long voyage. However, the captain dies in the ultimate end, and the loudspeaker is within a somber and intense disposition of sadness. This is also a great example of a subjective mood. In this stanza, the speaker is a poet himself who praises an anonymous woman.
Comparing her beauty to night on the sky filled up with stars. He expresses his feelings by comparing her to light and dark that she is a mixture of both. This is a subjective approach of expression purely. Subjective approach or presentation or view point is useful and allows the readers to get an insight into the mind of the writer through interpretations and explication of his characters, thoughts, beliefs and opinions. Subjective writing or viewpoint builds tension and a greater freedom to readers to interpret actions of individual characters. This process givens a view that each person sees a plain thing from different perspective.
